Jericho Overthrown Publishing

Every wall built from silence can fall.

We are a nonprofit publishing house dedicated to the testimonies of survivors of abuse — sexual abuse, ritual abuse, and other violations too often kept behind closed doors. We publish what survivors are ready to say, exactly as they wish it said.

  • Anonymous and pseudonymous publication available. Your safety comes first.

Our Mission

A publishing house built for the truths others tried to bury.

Jericho Overthrown Publishing exists because survivors of abuse are so often told to stay quiet — by their abusers, by institutions, by fear itself. We believe the walls that keep those stories hidden are not permanent. They can be brought down, carefully, on the survivor’s own terms.

As a nonprofit press, we work directly with survivors of sexual abuse, ritual abuse, and related trauma to shape, edit, and publish their testimonies with the dignity, accuracy, and care those stories deserve.

I. Survivors retain full authorship and control of their story.

II. Trauma-informed editors guide every manuscript.

III. Anonymity and pseudonyms are protected without question.

"I did not think the wall would ever move. Then someone believed me enough to help me write it down."

What We Do

Publishing, built around the survivor.

Every service we offer exists to move a testimony from private memory to public record — safely, accurately, and only when the author is ready.

Testimony Publishing

Full-service publishing for survivor memoirs and testimonies, from first draft to finished book, in print and digital editions.

Trauma-Informed Editing

Editors trained to work alongside survivors with patience and care, never rushing a story that isn’t ready to be told.

Anonymous & Pseudonymous Publishing

Legal and editorial support for authors who need to publish under a pseudonym or without identifying details.

Advocacy & Community Partnerships

We work with survivor networks, legal advocates, and mental health professionals to support authors beyond the page.

What it meant to be heard.

They never once asked me to say more than I was ready to. The book is mine, start to finish.

I published under a pseudonym and nobody made that feel like a lesser choice. It felt like the right one.
